Ways of making money online

We are going off topic here..but it is popular topic..since forex trading is also online..why not explore other options?

1) Paid to click scene
Neobux ,Clixsense,Wordlinx ,Clicksia. Those 4 are among the popular ptc sites..For a free member the current rates are about 0.02 per day..so if you register 20 sites..how much did you earn per day ?About 40 cents ,50 cents tops. The minimum payouts are usually $3 bucks but there are many offering $1 payout..so it will take a while...maybe 1 or 2 months. So the work might not be worth it.. but the extra change will help since you can always invest those money. Thats when your money grow into explosive proportion. If you left the bucks in the bank ..you spend it and its gone...so wisely invest those money even $1 so you could earn bigger.Now thats when all the trouble will be worth it

2) Online investments
There are many venues to invest stocks, forex, oil,commodities.You can always invest it yourself or use professional money manager to make you money. It could be forex companies (brokers) since you can invest in small amounts of money. The HYIP scene is loaded with scams, which cant last even after few years. Name any hyip that survive for more than 3 years or even begin 10 years. I searched the internet...not one.So look for reputable investment companies which is legit and only invest small amount of money. We will discuss other markets not involving financial markets later eg..advertisement markets.

3) Website , blog...
Monetizing your sites could be extremely profitable..adsense is the most popular..but others like adhitz,adbrite etc are gaining traction in competition. You will get paid when a unique use click your ads..but this way of making money is the most time consuming and require lots of effort on our part. This is not recommend for newbies since many had tried and few did succeeded. You can see many has success but many more didnt. A high traffic and high quality content is needed. I never understood those people who said that monetising site is the easiest way to make money. Its probably one of the hardest. Look of the terms SEO etc..those complicated stuff..

4)Paid to post
This is kinda new since you could take advantage of existing high traffic forums and be paid for it..eg mylot..there are tons of paid forums but the MO as usual is you get to post on the forum and insert your ad code from the advertisement company there instead of putting the content on your own website. I still needed to explore this since the potential is enormous. Finding the right site/forum could be tedious , i shall post about this on a new section later

5) Typing jobs
Legit? Scam? Probably ?
Megatypers, Protypers, Captcha trader those three are the ones that i was are of. You get paid to decode images from captcha . Submit it in 15 seconds or so then you get paid. The pay was pathethic about 1000 for $1. There is still lots of users doing this daily..some even get 5$ per day. But the service is not without flaw...sometimes you had to wait about a minute before they get something for you to decode. There were even many people claiming it to be scam since their payment pending is not processed yet usually by paypal. The amount reached in XX dollars. If they couldnt pay that kind of money.. i dunno what to think. Those are chump change for the amount of work to be done. The complaints are done on may 2012.. some say stay away from these. The good thing there is no money investment involve similar to above 1) and 4)

6) Legit company work online
You could try microworkers, microjobs ..and again for pennies..but at least those 2 are legit. People nowadays didnt even look to be rich..but getting a substantial income is the realistic goal.If the rates are worse that sweatshops in china...well.
Transcribing is also available /You can search it on the web their pay is $10 sort of freelance.
Freelancing in the internet is also popular .but you need to have the skills...the common work is web designers ..i had seen $200 per projects> The second in high demand is web programming,C++, php ,java and whatever crap which i dont want to know...etc

7) Online selling
Perhaps one of the hardest way to make money online..but still viable. You need enough starting capital and the right product in demand with less competition.Knowing the internet if there is worthy to sell somebody had probably had done it right now. Can you compete with the international sellers which can offer better price? Ebay was once popular..still is but the rising costs make it unprofitable/not worth the trouble. Unless you are good marketeer or know how to convince people to buy from you ..dont bother with this..but always try it..you never know your luck.

There must be more ways of making money online that i dint cover which i will follow up.

The beauty of hedging

Back in 2008/2009 i did many experiments involving trades with scalps using predetermined Stops. It when smoothly as the equity gains almost 100%. But sooner rather than later a dry spell hits. As always with trend trading,S&R methods the consecutive loses are expected. But i didnt expect a 10 losing streak in a row. This has taken me back..which i dropped the whole strategy together.
Fast forwards years later, I slowly developed ways of hedging which allows me to minimize the risk and increasing the rewards at the same time. It almost always happens like this...a trade goes -200pips on Eurusd... trades on Eurgbp and Gbpusd ..+70+20+30+45 +80=205pips in total. Do the math as the loss is cut at the end..leaving in breakeven or a small profit. This is a far cry as whipsaw always hit SL years ago.

The pros of hedging:
1) Psychological advantage..hard to explain but its there
2) Protected from whipsaw action
3) Tight risk management
4) You can sleep at night instead of having closing the day in negative if your using SL
5)Make money first ..cut losers later...but there is no runaway trades

Miniebook

I had thoughts on this a for while,but it is definitely a work in progress. I would like to release a new mini ebook available for download of how i trade correlation successfully for the past year and this year.I will designed this for newbie trader (not so newbie) which they can hopefully follow. It will be a rough/raw first edition since it will my first ebook. I will include some screenshots but only a few so not to take too much space on fileservers and for a fast download.

Hedging with EURUSD

As i continued trading towards H1 Tf , i encountered several runaway trades. I found a solution , to hedge the trade with eurusd in a step towards diversification. My exposure on eurgbp alone is not a very wise action especially in the long run. Nowadays i do not only check the correlation between eurusd and gbpusd, but i also looked for eurgbp and gbpusd. In usual days i usually has eurusd and eurgbp trades running at the same time, but also when both in a different direction,ex buy eurusd sell eurgbp.
I not only reduce a lot of DD,usually i ended up in profit as eurusd profits is larger than eurgbp loss. In a better situation, i even have a profit in both eurusd and eurgbp making for a terrific week.

Experiments Result

I found it the hard way...at least on demo..yes you can big stop loss, but the actual grid must be 30 pip spacing between levels and 60pips above for tp since as soon as trend came you want to hold out on winners longer .Those stops above which is 200p will be hit but you have to make sure you have more profits than losers.

Losers vs Winners

Theres no escaping losers with this new technique,as always we had to make sure our winners are more or bigger than losers,as for trend traders bigger winners is usually the case.But a hard to do for us average traders...whats the better ? Having streaks off losing trades and a big gain vs steady stream of booked profits with occasional booked losses. I chose the latter...
